Christmas! ... And other things

So, due to my lack of tablet, I have not been active recently, but the tables have turned. Something that I was supposed to receive on my birthday (But due to extenuating circumstances did not) I received something completely amazing for christmas:
A Cintiq 13HD tablet to draw with. Now, I really shouldn't use it that much as of now due to my portfolio for Sheridan's animation program (and illustration program, yeesh) having a deadline coming up, but it is nice to have when I just want to do some me-things. (Not that the portfolio isn't a good time, but sometimes I just need to draw some nonsense.) The tablet itself is beautiful to say the least, the drawing is so ridiculously smooth. It's going to take a while to get used to.
I received quite wonderful gifts overall, and really it's the first Christmas where we haven't had a major internal family conflict, which is nice - albeit a little strange. I'm able to focus on my portfolio(s) and attempt to get them done before March.
I've got a shit ton of work to do.

which does monthly theme challenges! As is implied, the theme changes monthly and the administrators carefully select a winner out of the entries, which, I might add, can be either artwork or written work.
'Why should I attempt the challenge?' you may ask. I say you enter the challenge not only because it's a fun way to improve and get publicity, but also because if you enter now, there may be less participants and a higher chance of winning the PRIZES!

Back from Hiatus and News

I realize that I did promise my comic and, as of now, I am working on it. I've decided to finish this chapter up, and post those while I work on the next chapter. I'm doing it as Line art first, so I will have the whole chapter (Page-wise) done but not posted soon. I sincerely apologize for the delay ;o;
Anyways, in other news, I am working up a price list for commissions, so if you want one before the prices are set, message me!

Hiatus

Well, I'm going on a small hiatus from drawing, because of major computer issues. Hopeully I'll be up, running, and more organized in the next week or so.
(P.S. What I mean by major computer problems is that I've lost everything. All files, documents, paintings, photos. It's really hitting hard, to be honest. If any of you are willing to commission me, that would be incredible, because after I'm done I will definitely need the money.)
